The profitability for a manufacturing company is dependent on pricing the jobs accurately. JobData tracks each job uniquely and costs labor, parts and scrap against the job. The work order has a barcode as does the employee (or department). As the job moves to a person the production facility, their barcoded badge is scanned, starting the “clock” on the labor against the job. Any parts used are entered.
